Patel (USRA, NSSTC), M. McLaughlin (Jodrell Bank),\nR. Fender (U. Southampton), T. Delaney (CfA) report on behalf of a\nlarger team:\n\nWe observed the soft gamma-ray repeater SGR 1806-20 with the Australian\nTelescope Compact Array (ATCA) on January 5, 2005 for two hours (mean\nepoch approx 2000 UT). (See GCN #2928, #2929, #2933; ATEL #373, #375\nfor earlier results).\n\nPreliminary flux levels for 2005-Jan-05.83 are as follows:\n\n2.4 GHz: 87(2) mJy\n4.8 GHz: 53(1) mJy\n8.6 GHz: 29(1) mJy\n\nWe observe a possible break in the source spectrum. The power law spectral index\nbetween 4.8 and 8.6 GHz is -1.0, while between 2.4 and 4.8 GHz the index is -0.7.\nFurther observations will take place on January 6.",
