Kawai (Tokyo Tech)\nreport on behalf of a larger collaboration:\n\nThe entire error circle of GRB 041016 (=H3578) was observed with the\nTokyo Tech-OAO 50cm telescope equipped with the tricolor camera.  100\nframes of 30 s exposure were taken simultaneously in V, R, and I bands\nfrom 13:25 to 14:18 UT.  Visual comparison of the stacked image with\nUSNO-A2.0 (R) catalog reveals no new source with following upper\nlimits:\n\n  V: 17.4\n  R: 18.5\n  I: 18.0.",
