Page (U Leicester),\nD. M. Palmer (LANL) and A. Tohuvavohu (U Toronto) report on behalf of\nthe Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory Team:\n\nAt 11:04:36 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and\nlocated GRB 200711A (trigger=981957). Swift slewed immediately to the burst. \nThe BAT on-board calculated location is \nRA, Dec 285.977, -0.136, which is \n RA(J2000) = 19h 03m 54s\n Dec(J2000) = -00d 08' 09\"\nwith an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including \nsystematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed multiple peaks\nwith a duration of about 30 sec. The peak count rate\nwas ~6000 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~0 sec after the trigger. \n\nThe XRT began observing the field at 11:07:22.8 UT, 166.3 seconds after\nthe BAT trigger. Due to a poor slew, the promptly downlinked data only\ncover 30% of the BAT error circle. No source was detected in 779 s within \nthe small part of the BAT error region covered. We are waiting for the\nfull dataset covering the full field of view to detect and localise \nthe XRT counterpart. \n\nUVOT took a finding chart exposure of 150 seconds with the White\nfilter starting 169 seconds after the BAT trigger. This is a very crowded\nregion with large extinction. No credible afterglow candidate has been\nfound in the initial data products. \n\nBurst Advocate for this burst is F. E. Marshall (marshall AT milkyway.gsfc.nasa.gov). \nPlease contact the BA by email if you require additional information\nregarding Swift followup of this burst. In extremely urgent cases, after\ntrying the Burst Advocate, you can contact the Swift PI by phone (see\nSwift TOO web site for information: http://www.swift.psu.edu/)",
