Melandri (INAF-OAB) report\non behalf of the Swift/UVOT team:\n\nThe Swift/UVOT began settled observations of the field of\nGRB 140518A  77 s after the BAT trigger (Melandri et al.,\nGCN Circ. 16298).  No optical afterglow consistent with the\nXRT position (Melandri et al. GCN Circ. 16298) is detected\nin the initial UVOT exposures.\nPreliminary 3-sigma upper limits using the UVOT photometric\nsystem (Breeveld et al. 2011, AIP Conf.
