M. De Pasquale (MSSL-UCL) reports on behalf of the Swift team:

The reddening toward the direction of GRB 140209A quoted in GCN 15821
is actually not correct. The correct value is E(B-V) = 0.79.
We thank D. A. Kann  for pointing out the mistake.
