report on behalf of the Swift-XRT team:
The XRT began observing the field of GRB 111109A at 03:49:14.9 UT,
3088.9 seconds after the BAT trigger. No source was detected in 922 s
of promptly downlinked data. We are waiting for the full dataset to
detect and localise the XRT counterpart.
